Unbeatable in this price-range.
2 of 2 found this helpful I've owned about 10 different ESP/LTD guitars over the years, and have owned two MH-1000s before this H-1001, which are both very similar guitars. For their price the 1000 series guitars from ESP/LTD are simply unbeatable for rock, metal, shred, etc. The hardware, pickups, tonewood, aesthetic appointments, and most importantly the fret-work are simply unmatched by Ibanez, Schecter, Jackson, Agile, and others in this price range. The fret-work is consistently incredible on these guitars, and I've owned at least a few of guitars from all those other companies above. You can do much better than LTD if you're not playing rock/metal though; if you're a blues/jazz/country cat this will obviously not be the best option.
