I try very hard to be true to what I am and love what is there for me...I am what I have become because of the past, and this is why I love the vintage and the antique. These are the wisps of my youth and the dreams from the ancestors.

If it triggers that 'love it' instinct, I will buy it. If the instinct is strong, I keep it...if I have loved it long enough, I sell it. Crockery, pretty dishes, lovely wooden things, colors and textures are all a part of what I offer- and age with a sense of presence.

I do try to keep my own senses and emotions in a state of growth and expansion- my friend calls this 'upgrading the collection'. I love things that I love- and this is what I grab onto. Some of it changes with me, some of it changes me and some of it just passes through. Roses, frames, kittens, stoneware, Grandma things, lace and memories are a part of what I buy.

I alway did like little stuff- tiny vases, crocks, marbles and 'pretties'. I love old prints, crocks, stoneware and roses on porcelain. I also love McCoy and many of the old local pottery pieces. In a former life I don't think I had enough glassware- big favorite! Buckler's Frames, Stratton Compacts and BOOKS!

I have education in music and fine arts from Penn State, and have worked a myriad of jobs from sales clerk, Avon Lady and Factory Girl to Insurance Claims, Dental Assisting and Small Business management. Right now it is all about ebay- just for the fun and to change out my current stuff to start...then I would like to travel and invest and make it a bona fide business.

I don't mind paying the fees associated with debit cards, credit cards or Paypal. It offers speed, instant gratification for all parties and secure assurance of service and product. I also will accept all major money orders, cashiers checks or bank drafts- plus personal checks and echecks. So far I have been blessed with good customers, but the minute someone ruins this, I will change to more restricted payment methods.

I use a postal scale and check it against the ebay calculator and the USPS calculations for shipping rates. So far, I only add $1.00 into the shipping total, as I pack well and use bubble wrap. Most of my items require a good amount of protection, and this does cost me. I have not added additional amounts for combined shipping as of yet- it hasn't come to that. I just want to break even on the materials and charge for actual postage. I prefer priority mail when possible, but will use media mail, first class, parcel post or flat rate if the situation warrants.

Nearly all of my items are vintage or antique- thus full of imperfections and 'use indications'. I will describe to the 'nth' degree as much as I can, and take lots of photos. I will only accept returns if something is grossly and incorrectly misrepresented. Reimbursement will be as it was paid- check for check, Paypal credit for all else. Insurance is important for valuable or breakable & fragile items- I leave this option up to the customer.

Please contact me through the ebay messages- it keeps everything on record and I also can monitor or refer back to it without having it get lost in personal email or accidentally deleted.
