QUALITY
WHAT MAKES A QUALITY FLY?
Quality hooks: We use Mustad Hooks on all of our flies. For over 100 years, Mustad has been the world's largest hook manufacturer. Their hooks have never failed me yet.
Materials: Many commercial tiers use commercial grade materials. MMRF uses first quality materials in every fly that we tie.
Experience: With over 30 years of tying experience, we know how to put the materials on the hook so that they stay there - even after multiple hook ups.
Proportion: It's not only knowing how to add materials to the hook, but how to add the material in the right proportions and colors.
Made in the USA: Many of the commercially available flies on the market are tied offshore, in TIE-LAND. At Merrimack River Flies, we tie our flies right here in the NorthEast USA!
