Currently I am researching my ancestors who were among the founding families of the Union and Spartanburg areas for SC. Some of my maternal line were also early settlers in GA and the original 13 colonies. All lines considered, my ancestors figure all throughout the first 200 years of colonization in this country starting in the 1500s. Anyone doing research on and related to the founding families of Union and Spartanburg South Carolina is welcome to contact me on this subject.

Working professional that sells misc items to clear out excess belongings and to raise spare cash to spend on coins and misc. My job doesn't pay me enough to spend on non-essential things! I earned my Masters degree at Appalachian State and have a fair amount of computer skill. However selling online and doing the eBay thing is new to me. I have been online since 1995, before most of the current day Net sites. Plus being a collector, as you all know, one tends to accumulate way too many things, in my case books, and need to thin the herd somewhat so the house still has some usable space left that is not devoted to storing loads of books! :)

I accept Paypal. With the new eBay policies, this is the only form of payment I am capable of accepting.

I prefer to ship within the 48 states. However I will ship internationally with the understanding that I am not responsible for customs nabbing your shipment if your country doesn't approve of the item mailed. Being that my work hours start before the PO opens and end as it closes, packages that have special handling requests will take longer than normal parcel post or priority mail. I prepare every purchase for mailing as soon as payment has been received. All packages are placed in the mail at 8:30 am M-F. Packages paid on weekends are shipped Monday. I live far enough outside of town that it is expensive driving to town on a day off. If I encounter difficulties related to shipping, you will be notified quickly as possible of the circumstances via the eBay mail system. Some people have had issues with my shipping times. I ship immediately after payment receipt. Hickory, NC is NOT noted for quick mail service. Check the ship date on package before rating the DSR.

If I inadvertently misrepresent an item, or if it had a serious flaw I should have noted, I will refund the item cost and shipping. Otherwise, return policy will vary according to the item being sold and you will need to read the item listing to see what it is. I will not deliberately misrepresent an item nor will I palm junk off on buyers. You may rest assured that any item I sell will be represented accurately. To summarize: if I screw up, I will make things right. I've made three mistakes out of over a thousand transactions, and have fixed these to the buyer's satisfaction, and received positive feedback despite my error. Rest assured I will not take your money and leave you hanging. Any problems you have with any of my items, or anything at all to do with my eBay transactions, please email within the eBay system and I will work with you to resolve things to mutual satisfaction. Please contact me via eBay email. This way there is a record of all contacts so it is transparent to eBay, you and myself. I want transparency for my eBay selling transactions. This protects both the buyer (you) and myself. Also eBay email will be the quickest way to contact me. If I have a spare moment at work to check my eBay account, it is this I will check first. All other contact methods are not checked until the workday is done. My Yahoo account receives enough mail that if you contact me via this mail address, the odds are high that I won't see your email. To reiterate, PLEASE use eBay email. If you need to send a longer email than it allows, please use it to tell me you are sending me a more detailed email to the Yahoo account and give it a very noticeable subject line. If need be, I will give you my ISP email for contact.

If there is something you know I have, or think I may have, that is not listed as a current auction or selling item on eBay by me, you may ask me if I have the item of interest and if I will post it as a Buy It Now offer. I have a lot of world coins I have not listed yet since it takes time to document them (KM#s, etc), scan them, and list them. Most of my coins for sale are non-US coins. I tend to buy more expensive coins for US coins and rarely buy duplicates here. Foreign coins I buy mostly in bulk lots since I get a lot of variety in one pile, have some to give to younger relatives, and some to sell here on eBay to help fund my coin buying. I have a store, but I have the store since it is cheaper to list things on eBay in bulk this way and it stays open longer than an auction.

My goal is 100 percent perfect service. I take both my buying and selling responsibilities seriously. If you are ever unhappy with a transaction with me, please DEFINITELY contact me so things can be made right. Buyers: Please make payment within three days of purchase. If you need more time to pay me, contact me and let me know. I am more than willing to work with you for reasonable requests. Nonpayment Of Winning Bids: After ten days I will file an unpaid dispute if I have not heard from the winning buyer of an item. Nonpaying bidders will be emailed reminders twice via the eBay mail system. The second and final email notice will be sent no later than day 8. Day 10 will have the dispute filed if no contact has been made. If you have contacted me with a valid reason, potential disputes are postponed for the needed time. Buyer Feedback: I leave feedback after you do. If feedback is not left after a month that sales record is archived minus feedback & will not be seen again by me.
