Clear and concise.
Having owned a Ford Excursion with the 7.3L diesel engine for the past 5 years, I can tell you this book is absolutely invaluable. Simple maintenance items can be done on your own with relative ease by following the step by step directions in this guide. While not every full diagram is included for obvious reasons (the book would be the size of the excursion) with a little ingenuity, one can generally figure out the location of what is necessary. The guide lays out the necessary tools, and details what parts will be needed. Anyone with any mechanical ability (and my own talents are quite minimal) will be able to save hundreds on scheduled maintenance for your truck or suv. With fuel costs going ever higher, it is of absolute importance to keep your superduty in top running condition. Given a little time, and some sweat, this book makes it possible while saving bundles over dealer shop charges.
