I am a Catholic priest who collects 'sick call'or 'last rites' sets for a hobby, and share pictures and information about them on a website, SickCall.org

The most powerful moments of my priesthood have come when I have been honored to bring the Sacraments to the sick and dying. Since most people now die in hospital rather than at home the need for these devotional objects has seemingly diminished, but these sets are still an important part of every home, and still serve us well as tools of our faith. What we used to call 'Extreme Unction' is now referred to as the 'Sacrament of the Sick', and together with Viaticum are all part of the 'Last Rites' of the Church.
