A web cam that can do what you want,how you want it done !
Love the cam , software adjustment and manual foucus are great for laser line scanning.And work well for a web cam too
Let's face it what's the point of not saving hundreds or thousands by doing it yourself.
This little cam does not have overpriced and underused features
(positives)
It is a low priced, high end webcam .
The manual focus is one of the many things that I liked about it (may be a handicap for some but it was something I was after). You have a distance you set it to focus at and it does what it is supposed to ,it takes still pictures, video and audio. It even comes with software for person to person truly personal communication.
(negatives)
1.Yes it has a manual focus.
2.Software is a little over connective.(please let me on the net)
3.Mine was refurbished (like factory floor demo model)it had some use and is a little grainy.
(Overall)
In short this is a workhorse with a lot of features, great software and is an all around good product

Not for Windows 7 64 bit but great for XP sp 2 or higher (32 bit)
Windows 7 has issues with the drivers, "blue screen of death". The kind of issues that cause you to have to restore Windows and check every program you have , to see if they still work.
For 32 bit systems, it's a great little Camera with a "blinder" on it (A kind of lenscap). It's design allows it to be placed on the top of most surfaces.It has good quality sound transmission and seems to be a good webcam.

Bought a computer to work smarter,not harder latley?
I did, the Macintosh is a great OS for those that enjoy having a little creative freedom. It's compatibility ,and capacity have been unsurpassed.
The good and bad and solutions, on the unit I got -
Good news:
3 big hard-drives, lots of RAM, fairly quick pick-up or easy to learn OS and more ram can be added. Cross platform compatability on several programs and very User friendly. Connects to two Television Sets or Monitors as is.
Bad news:
No OS pre installed , along with a slightly damaged case and few USB ports (2 USB on front 3 on back)
Solutions to the bad news:
I knew it did not come with a pre installed OS, so I ordered one and had it waiting when the computer got to me , and happened to have a USB hub that solved the few USB issue.(2 usb ports also on mac keyboard I got a while back as well)
As far as learning the new OS I installed ,it just works better on a MAC .
