I am building my store from the ground up. I open my bait shop on a wing and a pray in 1999. My bait tank was given to me. I think it is called a after burner. I cut it in half and welded panels to made 3 tanks. My tackle shop was in my tiny greenhouse.I had a few hooks and sinkers. I got stuff now! My shop moved into my living room. When to the Watermelon Festival in Rush Springs,OK and found a set of joyces(?) for $200 and I build me a store 24 x 42! I am now building a building for my stuff. I have too much stuff and buy more. I love selling it at a fair market value. If the market not fair I put in a box unstill the market becomes fair again. I look for good deals because I want to sell good deals. It is hard to do at times, but I keep on keeping on. I will be very happy when I build me a building for my birds. They were in the house with me. The mess! So I moved them to my tackle shop and again the mess! Ricky is a great watch bird. My shop is safe.

I am from Oklahoma. I worked in the oil field all my life and drove a big truck for a while. I don't have time to fish but love to fish. I enjoy this job as a bait shop owner. I guess it is because I have so much to learn about building my store on eBay is great too. Pricing is hard but I beleive if I keep my prices fair and shipping and handling true my business will grow and so will I.

I do not like personal checks and money orders. I am acceping them at this time on some things and only in the USA. Items you purchase with checks or money orders will not be shipped until they clear the bank. This can take up to 10 days. I am rethinking the personal checks and money orders. I like the quickest of Paypal. It all happens in a matter of hours. I have given myself in 5 working days for shipping because life happens. Any and all handling charges are just for needed boxes or packing. I hate charging them but it is the cost of doing business. I recycle when I can to keep shipping as low as possible. Insurance is paid by the buyer. Insured items are based on cost of the item(s). I always offer insurance. It is a good ideal to get insurance you never know what is going to happen to the package. I reqiure proof of any and all claims. I will do follow-up.

All can say here I will ship USPS, United States Post Office.I use over night, 2 to 3 days, flat rate and first class. I do not use parcel post because takes too long. I do not make my money on postage. I look for free boxes and use them every time I can so not to pass the cost to you. When you win an item I pack or repack the box, check the weight than I invoice you. If you pay the invoice without me rechecking the weight I will mail you a refund for unused postage, if any. Because I want you to shop with me. I do make mismakes and I will correct them. I do not use UPS/Fedx because I live in the country. There is a $10.00 pick-up fee and a .30 fuel charge; which I do not understand because they must pass me to get from point A to point B. Going to the city is hard, too far. I do not self-insure. I say I will ship in 5 working days because life happens, but most of the time it is the same day or next day after payment or payment has cleared the bank.

I have only a few copies but I think they are great books. I sell if ask. They have so much great information. Ideas for a bazaar, church groups. So many articles. I am looking at volume 20 July 1955 #10. It has crocheting ,knitting, rug making,late season strawberry, and recipes. I love the flower and garden forum. The advertisement are are a very good short story. The classified ads...opportunities Knock. Just by reading the ads you can how much we have changed, yet we have not changed at all. Be a nurse and make $50 to $60 a week. Were those days the good old days? Maybe not but life was not so fast. I look back at these days and I long for Woolsworth and the corner drug store. I loved going downtown to shop. Malls are nice but not the same. The parks are great place to go and without hiding our children eyes. Once they were a family place. We can not turn back the hands of time. Maybe sharing the old with the new will help turn the world about.
