We have been in business making and selling fishing spinners in Colorado since 1999. The business started out by selling spinners at flea markets and craft shows. Then based on feedback from fishermen, I began expanding into a wholesale market as Osprey Lure Company. I crafted ten wooden displays that each held 36 spinners for counter sales and went on the road, selling to Convenience stores, Bait shops, Hardware and Sporting Goods stores throughout Colorado. The displays disappeared quickly and we made more. While selling, we usually included camping trips but as time allowed I began making road trips soley for sales and restocking. The first wireformer was purchased from Cabela's in 1999 and we now have four in production. My next investment was to obtain a UPC barcode and design a rack holder for the reusable plastic tubes that were used for packaging. Osprey Lure Company (OLC) was our first tradename in 1999. The Fish Creek Spinners trade name was obtained in 2006.
