Hi living in the Southeastern Sierras of Central California. Above snowline, half way up to Alta Sierra Ski Resort. On the Kern River, just 1 1/4 walking miles down to the river and lake below. Snowed in alot and have slow dialup, but I get it paid!

Im on the Mt Mckinley drainage, high country here, few year round residients. My back yard is Sequiora National Forest, and continues along the the trails all the way to Canada. Above me up river is the Golden Trout Wilderness. Right now fishing is year round in around 100 miles of river and close to 54 miles of lakefrontage shoreline below. Im retired, have been now for 9 years. My dailup is extremely slow usually around 14K, with power outages and phone line failures with every major storm. If your an ebay seller give it a little time, as soon as the storm clears I will be back online, or head down to the community center and use the public computers there at our library to take care of everything. Oh I use Auction Sniper almost exclusively so Im often offline do to weather related problems when my bids are entered. Part of living here on the edge of wilderness, even in California.
