The other review fails to present the facts.

The bottom line is this unit removes radon gas as efficiently as their 1500-2500 dollar units for under 400.
Look up any commercial radon mitigation units its just a fan encased in a tube that leads up to the roof line.
The only difference with this system is it vents sideways out the house. Read up on it. The ONLY downfall is if you happen to place the radon vent directly under an open window radon could reenter the living space. Other than that no worries. Most towns and states have no building codes set for radon. So my opinion is install this yourself for under 500.00 with everything, or have a certified radon contractor install a system for thousands of dollars and get the same results..... your choice!
