We are a family based business working to bring you a wide variety of quality new and used items at affordable prices. My daughter who recently sold items with me online has moved out into the world, works while finishing her career schooling.

A little of this, a little of that, and hopefully a lot of both.

Besides the usual day to day items such as food, clothes, toilet tissue, etc...I, Leslie, like to buy things for my kids, Tom Clark Gnomes, old pictures, and unusual items, especially those things that are aesthetically pleasing.

I like gardening, dabbling in craft type stuff, attending NUMEROUS sporting/school events as my 15 yr. old son insists on being in EVERYTHING, buying and selling on ebay (although buying is less work..lol), and when I'm not doing all that, I like playing The Sims 2 because I have more control over their lives than my own ; )

I don't read much because I don't have the time or the desire to do so but I have always favored The Boxcar Children Books by Gertrude Chandler Warner because they take me back to childhood even though I'm not one anymore. Also, my son gave me the Joe Hill book-Heart Shaped Box for Christmas...it was awesome...of course, he is the son of Stephen King...lol!!

I like all types of music but mostly Rock, although I do love listening to Celtic or Classical when I'm going to sleep...somehow headbanging music doesn't put me to sleep very easily..lol. Favorite artists/bands are Bob Seger, Collective Soul, Papa Roach, Nickelback, Puddle Of Mudd, to name a few.

I don't have much time to watch TV but I do like Roseanne re-runs and The Sopranos, which are now reruns and of course I have to watch American Idol when it is on because it is entertaining and we have contests at home and work guessing who stays and who bites the dust. And Simon can always be counted on to express the exact thoughts I'm thinking about some of the idiots who think they can sing.

My family consists of: Tab-(yes, that is his REAL name) who is my 2nd husband and the love of my life. He is a Correctional Officer and has been one for 21 years now. We celebrated 14 yrs. of marriage in Feb. and have 2 sons-Mason 15, and Elijah 13. Mason is the athlete and Elijah is the small engine repair guy. They are like night and day in comparison but that keeps things interesting. I also have a son and daughter from the first marriage-Bryan-26 who works as a Supervisor and Technician in the Automotive Dept. at a local business; and Shayley-21, who bought a house with her boyfriend Nick and continues to work, go to school, and has NO time to sell on ebay with me anymore. As far as I go, my name is Leslie and besides being a wife, mother, ebay buyer and seller, I am also a Registered Nurse.

Folkenroth~the name comes from Shayley's boyfriend's maternal grandmother's parents (are you confused yet?) whose last name was Folkenroth. Great-Grandpa Folkenroth was a barber and had his own small town barber shop many MANY years ago (thus the meaning behind the barber pole in the Folkenroth name logo). Shayley LOVES that name because it is unique and has vowed that if her and Nick get married and have a son (and hopefully in that order), his middle name will be Folkenroth. The added quote of ~A Little Off The Top~ is in relation to what some people say when asked how short they want their hair cut. Also, it sort of describes various personalities in my family and probably some of the items I may sell~not too wacky or unusual, but just ~A Little Off The Top~. This pretty much sums up Folkenroth.
