I have been restoring pottery since 1995 when I realized that there was far too much fine pottery being thrown into the land fills. Museums restore and conserve, why couldn't I?? I took some classes from some fine restorers, used my natural talent, and the 19 years I worked as an artist at Hallmark Cards to help me in my quest. I have a nice clientele of happy individuals who continue to bring pieces to me to restore as well as many happy
customers who have purchased items that I havae restored.
Payment policy
I take PayPal, personal checks and Money Orders, although i do prefer PayPal. All items must be paid and the checks deposited and cleared before I ship.
I pack my own items unless it is an unusually large piece. Then I have it professionally boxed and shipped, but that is usually more costly and I end up paying for it!
Shipping information
I generally double-box my items and ship within three days of being paid or the checks clearing the bank. I use either UPS or USPS depending on the size and weight of the item.
I will also ship what ever way the customer prefers if they will ask ahead of time. I usually do not ship overseas unless asked by the customer and then the cost is figured prior to my sending the invoice.
Always ask if there is any doubt.
Sometimes the charges are not accurate and I will re-emburse you any extra over the $5. handling fee I charge for large items. It will come in the form of a check in the box with the item as well as a letter explaining what it was for.
As I said above, ask if you have a preference or if you have questions. I will respond within 24 hours or sooner.
Return policy
If you are unhappy with the item after receiving it, please let me know and I will endeavor to make it good. I will return all your shipping and insurance, both ways, plus the cost of the item. I will not refund the $5. handling fee on the large items. That partially covers the fees involved in paying eBay and the boxes. I do not make any money for that at all! I also do not charge you the fees I paid as a result of your purchase.
