MY WAY ON E-BAY
I have been on E-Bay since 1999 and I really like selling and sharing with others. I have developed relationships with my REGULAR customers and always look forward to new ones.I have been a custom picture framer for 28 years and as such I bring new meaning to being anal, especially when it comes to packing my items for shipping. The packaging materials I use does raise my cost of shipping but I am happy to say I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ITEM DAMAGED DUE MY PACKING! If you want an item enough to bid on it, then I am going to do my best to see it gets to you in the same condition as it was when I listed it! I put the following text in EVERY ITEM I list on E-Bay and I really believe and follow it, I would like to leave you with these thoughts, CHECK FEEDBACK BEFORE you do business with ANYONE, PLEASE check their CURRENT feedback rating. I DID NOT; BOY DO I WISH I HAD!! Last but not least, ALWAYS LEAVE TRUTHFUL FEEDBACK NO MATTER IF IS POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE! You owe it to your fellow E-Bayers!
Business InformationHistory/background
I started Holmes Custom Picture Framing in 1979 on a ranch in Newbury Park. I worked in a 30X40 garage. I did not have a storefront at that time so I did wholesale framing for interior designers and furniture showrooms. My neighbors found out that I did custom picture framing and they would bring the artwork to my house. I would place their artwork on my dining room table and show them different mat colors and frame samples until we had the best combination.
I opened my first store on Erringer Road in Simi Valley. It was only 850 square feet, so I had to do the actual framing at the workshop at the ranch in Newbury Park. I purchased Nora's Art Gallery located on Valley Fair and soon closed my store on Erringer Road and moved the inventory to the new location. We were located at 2256 Tapo Street from January 1997 until we moved to 2389 Tapo street on February 21, 2005.
