History/background
Comic Central was originally started in Turlock, CA as a retail store in the early 1990s. Over the years Comic Central has slowly evolved into one of the largest and most well known online retailers of comic books and collectibles in the world.
In late 2002 the original owners decided to sell their business to the Florida based The Funny Farm. The Funny Farm is owned and operated by Tyson Schneider. Tyson has been in comic retailing since 1987, he owned Indy Comics in Greenwood, IN and was co-owner of the 5 store Downtown Comics chain of Indianapolis, IN in the mid 90s. In 1997 he left the retail front to start the Funny Farm which deals wholesale to stores worldwide. Tyson has displayed at all the major comic conventions, and many smaller ones under The Funny Farm name, not to mention run 1000's of auctions on eBay. Comic Central is now a part of Tyson Schneider's growing comic empire based in the Central Florida region.

Shipping information
Shipping starts at just $3.99 for media mail plus $0.50 per each additional item won. Priority mail starts at $6.50 plus $0.50 per each additional item won. Shipping to Canada is very reasonable for a few comics and usually starts at $6.00 for airmail. Shipping overseas starts at $11.00 for airmail.
