I have an avid interest in history and therefore a career choice was easy...law, antiquities and relics! The American Civil War and 19th century antiques are my specialty, I've traveled all over the world buying and selling them since 1972!

On ebay I will be auctioning parts of a massive American Civil War collection that was put together from 1922-1988 and contains hundreds of relics, primarily from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Lots has been donated to schools, as I believe children will enjoy history more if they can hold genuine artifacts and relics in their hands. Then again, I believe everyone with an interest in history should be able to do the same thing too! I'm doing the ebay thing to see how it goes in comparison to selling relics offline. So far, from what I can see, and I mean no offense to any ebayers, but there's a lot of junk being sold at very high prices with no paperwork to back it up and very few quality items sell at similar prices, it's a mystery to me! So, because of that mystery I will not be auctioning much more on ebay. Every relic I sell is genuine and comes with a COA guaranteed for life and a letter stating the undisputed provenance it has.
