I read anything by James Patterson and Lawrence Sanders, great writers, they keep your interest. I don't like books that are too simple, I like a real mystery!!

When I was 17 I graduated from high school in Vero Beach, FL. 3 months later, I got my first job. I was working as a floor clerk, and I helped people find things they were looking for. I was told that the customer is always right, even if they weren't, I still use that method for my business, I will do anything I can do for a customer, to make sure he/she are treated right and get what they want. I mostly sell jewelry, and I am planning to open an eBay store soon, so I can add to my inventory. I am trying to keep up the supply of quality jewerly, I will not ever sell costume jewerly. I would end up giving it away, and I practically do that now...I don't make alot of profit from my sales, believe it of not, I reinvest in the jewelry I sell. You will find Birthstones for current months, and well as months past, if I do not have it in stock/listed, just write to me and ask for the item, I will do my best to find what you want, and the price is great, about half of what the MSRP is.

I've been working since I was 17 years old, I have mostly worked as a customer service clerk. I have done so many refunds, and I am just so over that, I will refund or give credit, depending on what I am told/see about it. I have only had a problem with one customer so far, I think she was off her meds!! If you receive an item that is damaged in any way..file a claim with the post office. Insurance is REQUIRED for ALL shipments, state tax will be added if necessary...WAIT FOR THE INVOICE BEFORE PAYING, PLEASE!! I do package everything in bubble mailers, and the item is ALWAYS in a box with a copy of the invoice and about 5 business cards to share with your friends, or co-workers. They will thank you later for that.

Everything is sent out within 3 days of cleared payment through PayPal. Sometimes the post office is slow, sometimes they are fast, I wish I could change that to FAST only, but I cannot control the USPS!!

3 days after recieving item/s, you will get merchandise credit on another item. If the item is ruined by the post office, file a claim...INSURANCE IS REQUIRED!! If I get the item back and there is a chipped stone, better be a note in with the item, explaining how that happened!! I have all of my gemstones checked by a jewelry clerk in JC Penney...she is highly qualified, and she is great to work with.

I collected Campbell soup items for a long time..I love the dishes and everything else, the big mugs...gotta have them. I use to cruise eBay looking for my Campbell soup collectibles, and I found things that I already had and would like to have. eBay is a great place to shop, no hassles, no one grabbing stuff as YOU try to get it, just bidding. I usually say, well it is an auction...you should never pay more than half of what the MSRP is. I have several minature tea sets that I will be posting soon...I will post them as individual items, and some I may sell in lots of 3 or more. I will also be listing my Campbell collection...whoever gets it with be in hog heaven!! I have one of the old Campbell soup kitchens, it was use in the old downtown Woolworth store that was close back in 1980, it was bought from the store and taken across the street to the PNW Bank breakroom area for the employees.I cleaned it up and it works great,it is only missing the can opener.I will list it later.

I try to get the word out to others about my little business (I call it a business in a bag, it all fits into a shopping bag), I included at least 5 business cards with each item/s sent out. I also have matching return address lables. I am think of sending out some post cards to some people who live in very nice neighborhoods/suburbs in Spokane. You have to promote yourself to get ahead, who knows, this just might turn into a really booming business!! I have my tax number and a business license, now I need to get a PayPal CREDIT card or an eBay credit card to keep my business compeltly separated, and in order. Quarterly taxes are a must for me, last thing I need at 55 is a bad rap from the IRS!! If you buy multiple items, you will get a break on shipping, it will be combined with any other purchase.
