I try to guarentee shipping within 2 days of close of sale, not counting weekends or holidays but usually ship the same day or next day of cleared payment as my feedback reveals.

Please know that I too, must pay for the high cost of Gas in my business. When my items are ready for shipping, I must drive approximately 10 miles round trip to my rural postoffice. Gas is $4.00 a gallon here Plus and going up daily. If I sell a pattern or miniature for $2.79, there is a fee paid to ebay when listing and another fee upon the selling of an item. for the privilage of using their web site to sell. There is a fee at Paypal for the privilage of using them as a payment center. Approximately 90 cents for these privilages. That leaves 1.89 cents left for the cost of purchasing my items and gas to and from the store. Without a handling charge to help with shipping charges such as packaging materials and gas to and from the postoffice, These items would not be worth selling without raising the sale price conciderably. I do not charge for Ebay or Paypal fees in my $1.00 handling charge, but charge for packaging materials and to offset the price of gas to the postoffice.

I CHARGE EXACT SHIPPING TO YOUR DESTINATION. I charge $1.00 handling charge per sale, auction or store purchase. When a person purchases 4 or more items from me, their handling charge is never more than $3.35 unless otherwise stated in the sale due to delicate items being shipped. 1 purchase, $1.00-2 purchases, $2.00-3 purchases, $3.00-4 purchases, $3.35-anything over 4 purchases, still a total of $3.35 and no more. So, 10 items, $3.35 handling, 20 items, $3.35 handling, etc. Exact shipping and the handling fee that is explained here is what I charge and no more. I will not gouge or overcharge my customers on shipping or handling.
