I have been appraising, buying, and dealing in antiques for about 18 years. I grew up with them and find their historical significance very appealing. It makes great financial sense--you don't have to replace anything very often!

After several years of ebay and shows, I find my favorite things are books and dolls. I have sold other items, but this is what I love most!

I spend hours in shops looking for adolescent, medical, and modern 1st editions these days. I try to buy dolls I believe others will enjoy. Estate sales are my favorite, because I see new items I haven't seen before.

Friends, adventures, and education. My home is decorated with many early primitive furniture pieces, red wing crocks, and fabulous oriental treasures, which is what my expertise is in. I use formal and casual decorations to create themes in different areas of my home. Now, as a medical consultant, I hope to view other areas of the country, and find new treasures in my travels!
