I am a photographer of many years. I have worked in security for several years, loss prevention for a major retailer, store management for 2 large chain retailers, currently working on protecting eBay and PayPal members from the bad guys one buyer & seller at a time. Kinsey's On the Bay (OTB) is an eclectic place to find things you could probably find anywhere, just not in the style that I have found. As I look out my windows here near the computer, there is not a body of water within view. As a seller and a buyer, I use PayPal. As a seller, the Seller Protection Policy is great! Tip: follow the Seller Protection and you will almost never lose a complaint filed against you. They are common sense requirements to qualify for the protection. As a buyer, there are 3 programs available to protect me as a consumer. I generally only purchase from eBay members that use PayPal. I want to pay fast, so I can receive my item fast. I will bypass auctions that do not accept PayPal. I have missed out on some good items, but again, there are no protections in place if the seller accepts only check or money order. As with any other business decision, research the protections available to you as a buyer or seller, and you will see what I am talking about.

Every order I send out will have some sort of delivery confirmation or tracking number involved. I ship with USPS, Fedex, and DHL. I do not allow local pickup unless I have listed it in the auction, or unless I personally know you prior to the auction being won.If I don't know you and you live 3 blocks away from me, the item gets shipped with tracking. I only ship to PayPal confirmed addresses if you pay me with PayPal. If you don't want to confirm your address or you can't because of where you live or you don't have a credit card, then send me a USPS money order. Your item will not ship until the money order is received and cashed (usually within 48 hours of receiving the payment). I do accept other currencies through PayPal.

Returns are only allowed if I clearly misrepresented the item. Return shipping is paid by the buyer, and will not be refunded. I do not withhold PayPal fees for refunds, because they don't either. All fees are credited back when refunds are handled the proper way with PayPal (Use the refund button). I am not a seller that pockets alleged fees charged by PayPal, for lack of knowing how to refund someone to prevent fees being charged.

I work very hard for eBay and the company I work for. I absolutely love my job, and love working for eBay. If you are in an area that you can work for an eBay company, I encourage you to look into it. They absolutely take care of employees and their local communities in virtually every way I can think of. It's a fast paced and ever amazing ride that seems to never slow down (yes I even feel this way on my drive in to work at 4:30 am!)I do not normally field eBay, PayPal, Skype or any of the other eBay companies questions through here. When I am selling or buying on eBay, I am doing it the same as everyone else on here. I am not an expert at auction listings, or to answer any why did this happen to me type scenarios. I am here to sell, or to buy. If I see something that may help your oter listings, I may volunteer that, but I will not critique your listings. I try to keep work and home apart. When I am on here, I am not working. I will however report any fraud or violations that I see.

1. Sellers that withhold PayPal fees for refunds (see my blog) 2. Buyers and Sellers that complain about something they didn't educate themselves on before hand. 3. Having character limits in text boxes. 4. Other people having what I want, and making me pay to get it from them...lol. 5. Reserve Auctions unless the seller discloses in the description the reserve amount.
