Although my profession was in medicine, I also owned my own candy and flower business. My true passion has always been in art. I began fashion design at age 11. I am an avid art collector and interior designer as well.

I collect fine art, Bucilla stockings, and Hallmark ornaments. I have an over abudance of Hallmark decorations so I no longer buy any. I love art by Thomas Kinkade, Michangelo, Dali, Picasso, Monet, and Kush. I also like art from some of the newer artists but Kinkade is my favorite because his works so tranquil and full of color. I always have the highlighting because it really enhances his works.

My main hobby is making and selling Bucilla kits. I have 2 sons who are physicians and this is the one thing they always give as gifts to their friends, staff, fellows, or partners. It is always a treasured gift. In fact, it has become a requested gift by all of our friends and associates. I buy and sell art as a hobby, as well stocks. I love daytrading but don't have the time now. I prefer concentrating on Bucilla. I love making sketches and new ideas for kits. I have submitted new ideas from myself and several from my customers to Bucilla for upcoming kits. I will keep you posted on the results. I am a gourmet cook and have enjoyed it since I was forced to learn to cook when I married. I have taken several classes to further my education in perfecting that skill. I have published recipes in two books, as well as submitting recipes to a well-know hotel chain. I love wood sculpting and rock floral creations.

My favorite movies are classic movies. I am a big western movie fan. Of course you can't love western movies without loving John Wayne. Some of my favorite westerns are Rio Bravo. El Dorado, Tombstone, and Young Guns. What female does not love Dirty Dancing or Love Story? I am very patriotic and love movies set during WWII such as Patton, Over the Bridge Kwai, Longest Day, From Here to Eternity, The Dirty Dozen, and numerous others. Comedies are tied with westerns as my favorites. I don't have time for movies any more since my new love of eBay and my customers. I do get a chance to watch them on TV while working on a kit.

I love all music except the headbangers. After studying piano for 12 years and having a grandfather who was a music teacher, I love all forms of music. My father was a conductor for Missouri Pacific Railroad, now Union Pacific, and his run was from Hot Springs, Arkansas to Memphis, TN. I would go with him on weekends. When we were in Memphis we always went to the Beale Street area to the small clubs. I learned to love R&B at an early age. Yes, I met Elvis and I love his music. In his beginning, he would ride the train with my father. I think he had one of the greatest voices ever. I love Dean Martin's easy style of singing as well. The list is too long of my favorite artists from classical to rock.

My favorite TV show is the Closer. You can't be from the South and not identify with Brenda Leigh Johnson, as you can tell when I send invoices. I have always said Thank you very much, as does she on her show. Southern hospitality can show through even when solving murders or when angry.

Please leave any tips, suggestions, praises or criticisms you have so I can better serve you in the future. I strive for perfection, but I am always open to new ideas and tips that any of you may have. I want customers and potential customers to be able to view suggestions to help them complete their stockings with the most professional appearance possible. I am open to criticism to help me improve our business since we are new, only a little over a year on EBay. I also enjoy any praise if, on purpose or by accident, I have done something right. I truly believe that I have the most wonderful buyers of any of the sellers on eBay. I want to thank you for your support and loyalty.

At 3 years old I began dance, ballet, and gymnastics. At 11, I began designing my own clothes. I made my own patterns, chose my fabrics and made my own clothes. At 12, I began studying music and taking piano lessons for 12 years. In Junior High and High School, I took Home Economics but couldn't boil water. It was not until I was married that I was forced to cook well or eat my own cooking. My husband couldn't cook, so I forced myself to start learning to make meals that did not cause us to throw up. I have been successful in being self-taught as well as professionally trained. Although my career and paycheck came from my medical profession, it was not my passion. After being disabled due to latex allergies from too many hours in surgery, I have gotten to pursue my love and true passions which is design of all forms of art. I owned a candy and flower business, catered to many people, including well known politicians, interior design, and making Bucilla stockings.

I usually ship within 24 hours of cleared payment unless it is an international shipment that ends after hours on Friday. I do not ship international shipments on Saturday. I mail all international orders International First Class because it is so much cheaper and according to my international customers it is almost as fast. If you prefer Global Priority, I will be happy to mail that way. I mail multiple orders with Priority Mail or FedEx with free delivery confirmation. Larger orders are mailed via FedEx because it includes #100.00 of free insurance.

I try to describe all my articles exactly as seen, if I have missed something, I will accept a return, otherwise all sales are final. Customer satisfaction is my most important concern. If you receive a kit from me that you are not satisfied with, please contact me and we will make sure you are 150% happy with your purchase.
