Journey Into Mystery #101 THOR Jack Kirby and Stan Lee
Well written by Stan Lee. Kirby has a rough style usually and the inker does make a difference. The art remains outstanding. And George Bell did a fine job even as Colletta is actually one of the best Thor Inkers since he softens the garishness of early Marvel KIRBY! Jack Kirby is the king and the inking does not diminish his work at all. Imagine Lee and Kirby took this character from Mythology and turned him into a super hero. This is Silver Age at it's best. And everything else is built upon this. Always find out for yourself what is true.

Weapon X by Barry Windsor Smith is the best WOLVERINE from Marvel Comics
Famed Conan artist Barry Windsor Smith became a classically trained artist in England and his comic book work brought him fame and glory from the 1970's to present. He was one of 4 brilliant artists whose work was showcased in "The Studio," a book worth having as well as this. The weapon X series shows how Wolverine got his claws (that have been poisoning him for decades). His healing powers kept him alive. Most of the 1st 24 Conans' (1970's) were by BWS and are unsurpassed in visual quality.

Who is the best person to draw Dr. Strange? Undoubtably Steve Ditko (ok tied with Gene Colan sometimes). This one is written by Roy Thomas. This comic has that magic. Who was the oldest and best illustrator of Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Jack Kirby (tied with Steranko). Written by the icon Stan Lee. The stories and art are clear and exciting. Buy it. Buy it now. Read and savor an original printing! Original coloring. 1st print and series.
