The E-Myth Revisited - SUPERB BUSINESS BOOK!!
I've been self-employed for almost 20 years now. For a large number of those years, I went through the motions of what I thought was "right" to do within my business(es). Although I was moderately successful back a decade ago, its only been the last half-dozen years or so that I've really started to build the business that I REALLY want to have. I accredit most of my changes to this ONE BOOK! I was encouraged to read this book by a local business consultant during a lunch meeting. On the way home from the meeting I stopped and purchased the book. During the first 2 chapters I go so engrossed in the book that I closed my store/office and spent the rest of the day devouring the book. 7 days later, I read it again, 30 days later I read it again! In my humble opinion, after 15 years of doing it WRONG, this book started me on the path of doing it RIGHT. There is a lot of information in this book. I'm a high-comprehension reader and still I needed to read it again and again. I've since moved on to the audio-CD version and am listening to it currently on my drive to-from work. In a nut-shell, the "E" Myth is the myth of the "E"ntrepreneur. A myth that basically states that 'someone who knows how to do the technical work of a business, knows how to run a business that does that technical work'. Unfortunately, IT JUST ISN'T TRUE. Although most entrepreneurs come from jobs where they are "technicians" who, at some point, have an "entrepreneurial-seizure" and decide go to into business for themselves, they just don't know HOW to be the "manager" and "entrepreneur" that is needed (along with the technician) to have a business that works. This book gives you the ammunition needed to OVERCOME this problem and will help develop and nurture the Manager and Entrepreneur in all of us. I've bought around 15+ copies of this book (both its first and second printings) and have given them away to friends an associates who even mention the desire to go into business for themselves. There is a chapter or two that digs a bit deep into some of the psychology of who/what an entrepreneur is. This section is a stumbling block for some of my associates and was for me early on in my E Myth education but is now something I understand much better about myself that I didn't understand before. Overall, this is the greatest business book I've ever read! I'm only saying this LARGE statement after spending 6+ years with it and going through it more than a dozen times and having MANY discussions and debates over its teachings with my associates. I'm still a student of the E Myth. I continue to try and apply more and more of its wisdoms to my business on a daily basis. I encourage you do do the same!

7 Habits - An Awesome book!!
Few books, in my opinion, have the power to change people's lives like this book can. I've bought and given away more than 20 of these books to family, friends and associates who were struggling with one part of their life or another. To begin with, I instruct them to read then, RE-read the first 90 pages. This first section is HUGELY powerful and puts "accountability" where it belongs (with us individually). There is enough samples, logic and support for the simple fact that WE are RESPONSE-ABLE for ourselves! This is all part of Habit #1 - Be Proactive. Socrates once stated: "The unexamined life is not worth living". Reading & studying The 7-habits book(s) (tapes, cd's, etc.) is one of the best ways of examining your life in my humble opinion. Within the introducton and the first habit alone, I was able to look under my own preverbial "hood" and examing my own engine/programing. Taking a look at the WAY WE LOOK at the world is a huge and powerful thing. Realizing that reality and our PRECEPTION of reality are two different things is a huge eye-opener. The first three habits in the book are geared toward INDIVIDUAL accomplishment or SELF-mastery. Becoming INDEPENDENT and not DEpendent on others. The second three habits are geard toward INTER-Dependence and working with others. Readers of this book; I encourage you to read, discuss with friends then RE-read (yes, stop there then RE-read) the first three habits of this book during your individual struggle. Continue to re-read until you get a sense of SELF-Mastery. Once your on the right path to SELF mastery, then continue on to the second three habits and then the final habit #7. The Self-Mastery Habits: #1 - Be Proactive #2 - Begin with the END in mind #3 - First things first The INTER-Dependence Habits: #4 - Think Win-Win #5 - Seek first to understand, THEN to be understood #6 - Synergy The constant RENEWAL Habit: #7 - Sharpen the saw As I stated earlier, this book has the POWER to change lives. I encourage you to read it while sipping a large cup of humility. This will allow the lessons to sink in better, in my opinion. At no time, however, should humility give way to logic and reason. Use your own humility, logic and reason to analyize the lessons within the 7 Habits and to put it simply - "Live a better life!"

Nice printer with individual replaceable heads and inks
This is a nice printer that does have Vista Drivers. I'm using mine on a daily basis without any problems. This unit does have an auto-alignment process that happens when a new printhead is inserted. A nice feature. I bought this one used off of Ebay and have have very good luck with it. The only thing that I could say that I'm having a problem with is its pickup-roller on certain types of paper. Since I don't know the exact age of the unit, I'm thinking that this is just an age issue and that a rejuvenated or replaced roller will fix the problem, but I'm not 100% positive. As a work around, I just feed it the same brand of paper each time and it seems to work just fine. I recommend this printer for its individual ink-tanks and individual print heads as well as its print speed and quality.
