Cable is not as advertised
1 of 1 found this helpful This is sold as 8 gauge cable but it is far from it. The outside diameter of the cable is smaller than 10 gauge, and the wire strands themselves are 12 gauge. The cable insulation makes up approximately 50% of the diameter of the cable, which is already smaller than the advertised 8 gauge. It's a good value though and will work for smaller systems.
