Thanks for checking in on my profile. I am a long time eBayer (August 98; 150+ Rating; 100% Feedback) and have just created this account to begin an online store that will be set up as a business. Expect the same from Groovy Memories.

Vinyl Records, Vintage Magazine Ads, Sports Trading Cards, and anything otherwise considered Groovy (and some other stuff lying around the house).

Running my eBay store, spending time with my wife & family, athletics, my puppies (say hi to Willow as she sticks out her tounge at you), and working on my Doctorate in Education.

I'm not much of a favorites list maker. It is too hard to rank as different books mean different things at different times. (There was a time when certain coloring books were all the rage, now, not so much.)

I think you have it now, but in case it is still unclear; replace books from above with movies with music/bands with TV shows.

Groovy is anything that somebody thinks is cool and has a fond place within the history and/or memory within themselves. Groovy Memories is about getting some physical reminders of joys past so that you have a chance to experience them in new ways to create continued joy, instead of storing that joy inside and keeping it from being known by others. These records, ads, and trading cards are artifacts of our lives and experiences. In today's ever increasing cyber world, we are losing these things and thus losing the item's ability to connect others with their past; those things that made them who they are today.

I set up an eBay account way back in August of 1998 searching for a few things from my childhood (I lost much of my things in a move from Wisconsin). I was able to find what I was looking for and soon won my first auction; The Original Cast Recording Sesame Street LP. I've had great experiences with eBay and look forward to more of the same as a dedicated store owner. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any reasonable issue that may need to be resolved or discussed. Reasonable adults can figure anything out; I think we need to get back to the culture of respect when dealing with others and get away from expecting others to give up the store for unreasonable demands or threats.

PayPal (I had no problem with cashier's checks and money orders, but eBay has a new policy against those).

I will do what I can to ship to you wherever you need me to. I try to keep costs as low as possible and feel some costs for supplies should be a shared cost and not fall soley on the buyer. I provide shipping discounts on volume purchases and in some cases wave shipping if you purchase a reasonable amount of items. Shipping discounts can be mixed-and-matched with any qualifing items.

I will deal with returns in a very resonable manner. I will accept back items in same condition as sent for up to 7 days for a full refund (returnd shipping to be paided by buyer). If you have an issue with any item delivered, please contact me and we will work out an effective solution for all parties.

Groovy Memories is about customer service and professional interaction. As much as we can in a virtual world, we want to excude honesty, trustworthiness, and safety in our dealings. We want our store to be a place to visit for purchases, interesting information, and if you read many of the descriptions fully, a bit of humor.
