I ship after receiving and processing payment as soon as possible- and ALWAYS within a few days (unless I'm on a trip or something- but if that's the case, there will be a notice on my website.) I ship without insurance for ready-made items, but I typically insure custom-made items. This costs MORE in shipping! However it is worth it for the insurance, since my handmade items often take more than 30+ hours of work (unfortunately I work slowly. TT_TT )

I don't accept returns unless something goes really, REALLY wrong. I only ship items in perfect condition (unless previously specified) and my commissioned pieces are one of a kind.
