I've been on ebay for many years now on another ID with my Mom. Outside of ebay, I sell pearl bearing oysters at some fairs in our area during the summer. I also did office work/shipping for our home party business where our demonstrators sold pearls/jewelry at home parties. I learned how to pack things so they could be used in the weekly UPS/USPS soccer game and still be delivered intact. We no longer do home parties, so when I'm not doing fairs, I'm right here on ebay buying, selling, or hanging out in the Answer Center.
Payment policy
I accept Paypal, money orders, personal checks, and cashier's checks. Paypal e-checks and personal checks are held up to 10 days for clearing (e-checks usually clear in about 4 or 5 days).
Shipping information
I ship the Monday after cleared payment. All packages are shipped UPS. They come with instant tracking, insurance up to $100 is included at no extra charge (more can be purchased at the current UPS rate). I prefer UPS because of their tracking and because you do not have to wait 21 days (or more) to investigate a lost package. If a package doesn't show as being scanned for even one day you can have it traced. It's nearly impossible to get as many features through USPS. The only way to get close to that is through USPS Overnight Express which is extremely expensive.
I also pack everything using the 'overkill' method. If two layers of bubble wrap are 'enough', then I use four. It may seem like my s/h is high, but when you receive your package, you won't be disappointed.
Return policy
I don't have a set return policy, I will take everything on a case by case basis. I describe everything as well as I can, and use as many photos as I can to show every detail. So I don't feel there will be any surprises when you open your package. But, if there ever is a problem, just let me know.
