I started guitar at age 7, went on to study with the great guitar masters Jesus Silva, Andres Segovia and John Williams while attending & graduating from The UNC School Of The Arts. After several years of performing and then teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University, in 1978 I founded Guitar Works, Inc. at this location. Over these 30+ years we have grown tremendously, sold thousands of instruments, represented the major brands, helped over a million people with their musical needs, taught over a half a million lessons and repaired thousands of instruments. In 2002 I started producing my own line of instruments. With the same established and respected brand name as the store Guitar Works, Inc. we focus on producing a higher quality instrument completely set-up and adjusted for perfect play in the affordable price range.
