Hello: Welcome to Gunagraphics. My name is Gunther Schabestiel, I have been passionate about photography since junior high school back in the 60’s. I have seen many changes in photography and have been very blessed to be working in this field for most of my life. When the digital revolution began, I scanned a large part of my 17,000 image library and have been editing down to the best images to present on my website. I sold my darkroom after examining prints made on the Epson 4800 printer. The Epson web site states: UltraChrome K3™ ink technology represents a turning-point in the history of ink jet printing. Inspired by past-generations of pigmented ink development, Epson UltraChrome K3 incorporates a three-level black, along with eight color pigments, dramatically raising the bar for professional color and black and white prints. My Fine Art prints are made using methods to ensure the longest available life of the photograph. Under UV glass they have a life-time rating of 105 years.
