It's a decent book for what it's meant to do. Not that you get a choice if it's a required item for class. Such is life, eh?

An awesome toy of a classic mecha
This is the definitive Regult for Macross (and Robotech) fans. There are good model kits out there, but not everyone has the time. Kaiyodo produced a good, smaller-scale version in its Revoltech line, but it has proportion issues compared to this one. Toynami also made a less complicated vinyl version that looks good, though it has fewer features.
This thing is great. The parts are all well detailed and painted. It has an opening cockpit! The articulation is excellent.
I have no complaints.
