What Attracted Us to Breathalyzers
Not long ago I was at a poker party with two of my brothers when Tim pulled out his personal breathalyzer. He had, apparently, acquisitioned the item on e-bay. We had a lot of fun with that breathalyzer. Tim and Tom competed to see who could blow the highest. An engineer in our party amused himself by predicting people’s BAC from their weight, their consumption, and the time since they started drinking. I used it to monitor when I had dropped below 0.02% (The threshold I consider safe for driving). The breathalyzer was fun, and it had saved me about fifteen bucks. I would certainly have taken a cab if I had not been able to check my BAC.
How HappyBreathNet was born
As the owner and operator of a number of bulk candy vending machines, it occurred to me that there might be a market for vending breathalyzers. I began researching the matter and ended up becoming an authorized dealer for the AlcoMate and AlcoScan line of breathalyzers. I don’t only sell these products, I use and operate them.
I believe strongly in my slogan. The cost of ignorance is high. The price of knowing is reasonable. And that is how HappyBreath.Net came to be.
