When I first received my drill, one end of the package had been retaped and one box flap was taped over the other on the wrong side and the drill could be seen inside the box from the outside. But the hammer Drill I received does appear to be brand new as described and shown no signs of being reconditioned. Plus my new drill runs very well. So the story has a positive ending and the seller gets positive feedback. I'm well pleased with my new hammer Drill.
