Superior
The best Turandot Bluray I have seen. A young Jose Carreras and Eva Marton actually look like the characters they are portraying. Voices are excellent as well although Carreras does not have the power of a Corelli. Staging and orchestra playing are both excellent.
Unfortunately , There is no video of a Birgit Nilsson Franco Corelli performance. This is still the standard

there are better alternatives
Excellent production and orchestra playing . The acting and singing were not top quality. I am comparing to the Lohengrin from Opus Arte featuring Klaus Florian Voigt, Kringelborn, Konig, Meir, and Fox. Particularly disappointing were the performances of King Heinrich, Ortrud and Telremund.
I would have expected better from Netrebko and the lead tenor, they seemed somewhat disinterested .
