A client wanted me to sell this, what she called an ugly Oklahoma mug, for her...that is what she called it. It was a Frankoma mug, one of the Tiki Mugs, and it sold for $554.50. We were both shocked & amazed! I started the auction at $24.99 because when I researched the markings on the internet the mug was made in the 60's and there were a limited number made, so given the large size and the fact that it was ceramic, I assumed there would not be many around in good condition...there was a small chip, but otherwise it was in great shape. Pretty kewl! We were thrilled and so was the buyer, he told me he had been looking for one to add to his large and extensive collection of Tiki - Polynesian Restaurant items.

I started selling on eBay when I was between jobs in 2005 with the strong encouragement of my best friend. She has tons of things she has collected over the years and wanted me to sell them on consignment, plus she continuously purchases new items at gargage & estate sales and auctions for me to sell. She has her own online bookstore and purchases mostly books, but she always picks up other things for me to sell on eBay. I also started selling things for others because she tells everyone about my eBay hobby. I really enjoy selling on eBay and hope to continue to list new items every week.

I normally ship worldwide. I am physically challenged so I prefer shipping USPS Priority Mail because of the convenient & cheaper pick-up service, today's gas prices, the free boxes & free package tracking. I pre-weigh every item I list, but sometimes I can find the perfect box, or flat rate is cheaper. I do charge a small handling fee to help recover some of my packing & office supplies and I have found that I do package much better than most. I don't know how some things I have ordered have arrived safely with no cushion or interior packaging of any kind!?? Plus, I always include an invoice for your records. Also, I do offer combined shipping, so buying multiple items from me will save you money.
