I love to buy good quality clothing for my children, high quality children's books and toys (Waldorf Influenced) and educational toys. I also love to travel and buy trinkets when I do. I am a photographer and public speaker as well as a teacher and healer so most of the items I offer will be related to one of these categories!

I LOVE learning languages. I am fluent in Spanish and Arabic (well, at least I was at one time!) and can still understand French and German when I read things. I had fun recently purchasing some things on German Ebay. The seller wrote to me in German and I wrote back in English. It was fun to use my German again. I also love herbs and being in the garden. I am writing a few books right now. The first one to be published will probably be the children's book I am working on. My favorite thing of all is eating good food from all over the world.

Anything by Andy Goldsworthy, Teenage Fantasy Books like Artemis Fowl, Lois Lowry Books, etc...my 12 year old daughter read them and then passes them on to me. I find the innocence, lack of profanity and brevity of the teenage novels refreshing! The only adult literature I read is either historical fiction (I LOVED The Physician) or non-fiction.

Bee Season, Children of Paradise (Iranian Film), What Dreams May Come, Bowling for Colimbine, What the Bleep Do We Know, Rivers & Streams by Andy Goldsworthy, The Secret Garden (Based on the Children's Book), A Fairy Tale, Wow...so many others I used to keep a list but I can't find it now...

Evenescence. Ok, they are a bit depressing. But that lead singer has a haunting voice! Also love Enya, Blackmore's night, and the first couple CDs by Josh Groban. I like ANY live music and my favorite thing is to visit local bands where they are playing.

Smallville, Kyle XY, The Daily Show (Comedy Central News Show), Mythbusters. We don't have cable so I download shows from the Internet from I-tunes and I mostly watch movies. I enjoy foreign films and indie films but also mainstream Comedy and Romantic Comedy or Dramas.

I started my photography business as a teenager in Cairo when I was 19 years-old. I graduated from Northwestern University with an anthropology and linguistics degree. However, I soon earned an education as an herbalist and after that a Naturopathic Doctor. My business since then has been as a healer and a teacher. I have been a Waldorf Early Childhood teacher and a Montessori Primary Teacher. I still run children's day-camps from my home once a month because I enjoy it so much!
