Like many small volume eBayers, my purchases and sales are mostly related to my hobbies. I try to list a few batches of interesting items each year to generate some paypal bucks to spend on old, new or intriguing items.

Feedback scores and transaction risk
The feedback score employed by eBay was a great idea and they have recently tried to improve it. However, when dealing with sellers that have perfect or near perfect feedback scores, there remains a small risk of getting burned. In a few hundred purchases, I have only had a couple of eBay sellers with whom I was dissatisfied (<1%) and have only suffered one sale where my buyer bottomed out.
For buyers it is often helpful to READ BETWEEN THE LINES of the seller's feedback to reveal potential risk or hassle. Please take the time to critically assess all the feed back comments relating to my eBay dealings and email for any details related to my listings.
When selling, I try be very selective about what I list. Reasonably valuable, fully functional and easy to ship items are the norm and I always try to provide excellent photographs so the buyer can accurately determine condition.
Obviously, I wish to preserve my 100% rating and try to promote the ratings of all my customers.
Business InformationPayment policy
Well, I resisted the premier ''upgrade'' of my paypal account for as long as I could but they have now made it impossible to sell on eBay without one. Sadly, all paypal payments especially those requiring currency conversion now cost me (and all other similar sellers) significant fees (often 5 - 8.5%) I have to accept, but I don't have to like the outrageously high fees and risk associated :( I will continue to accept checks and money orders - of course these methods of payment do slightly increase the time for the item to be delivered. But please consider these cost saving alternatives if a few extra days is not a deal breaker. Feel free to contact me to resolve any issues relating to payment and I will do best to provide a reasonable, convenient and secure method of payment. I'll continue to do everything that I can to preserve the trust of my customers and promote their feedback.
Shipping information
I am located in the mid-west so shipping times tend to be very quick to any 48 state address. Most items are shipped USPS but certain large or heavy items are more affordable when shipped UPS ground. International shipments are shipped global priority or air parcel (at actual cost) - the glacial pace of surface shipping is simply too slow. Generally, all packages are shipped within 24 hours of the payment being received.
Return policy
If I make a mistake resulting in an item being received not as depicted, please let me know via e-mail and we should be able to arrange return and prompt refund.
