eBay My World: house-of-angels( 4601)

I am a stay-at-home mom who has pretty much turned ebay into a full-time job! I also sell on consignment for others.

My expertise is with Home Interior items, but will try just about anything I find at a garage sale or that somebody brings me to sell!

I collect Avon Mrs. Albee figurines, Willow Tree & other angels. Since my husband & I got married last year in a Renaissance style wedding we have been getting into collecting dragon & medieval things.

I would say my biggest hobby is selling on eBay, but I have also become addicted to Sudoku puzzles!

I'll listen to just about ANYTHING - have to have a radio or CD playing at all times - even in the shower! Big favs are Evanescence, Josh Groban, Jo Dee Messina, Reba and any old 80's music - (they don't make music like that anymore)!!!

I am a couch potato & always seem to be watching something while recording something else on 1 or 2 VCRs! My favs right now are Heroes, Lost, Jericho, Medium, Men in Trees...I really miss Friends.

My shipping & handling rating seems to be low, but I don't really know WHY (since it is anonymous). I estimate shipping weight when I list an item and am usually RIGHT ON with the amount or even sometimes end up paying MORE than I charged the customer. If shipping ends up being less than I charged the buyer, it is usually only less than a dollar! I may charge more for large items shipped via FedEx because I have to drive 5 miles to ship these packages, but it is usually still cheaper than shipping big boxes via USPS!

I've been selling on eBay for 8 years now - both for myself & for others on consignment.

I'm still one of the very few sellers who accept personal checks (never been stung yet), money orders & PayPal.

I usually ship within 48 hours of cleared payment. I use bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts & any other packing materials needed to ensure your items arrive in great condition! I am very proud of my meticulous packing & the feedback I've received about it over the years.

I don't accept returns of ANY kind. I clean up everything I sell & would never sell anything I would not be willing to use myself. My descriptions point out any flaws (although I usually don't sell anything with flaws) & it is the buyer's responsibility to read descriptions & terms completely!
