Some of my artwork is my impression of other artistss works. I find stuff I like, and then change it to what pleases me most and paint my own version of it. I often just experiment to see what it would look like if I just changed this or that. Some of my art contains characters or images used by other artists but in a completely new original piece. Some of my art is completely original, my own creation and inspiration. My artwork has been sold for commission, and sold to art dealers and art teachers. I have had no formal training, but I did take an art class in middle school for 1 semester, and 1 semester of high school. My mediums are wide in range: acrylic, water color, chalk, charcoal, oil pastel, clay, fruit and vegetable sculptures, crayon melt, and much more. I love to try new things!

I left art behind for many years to persue other career opportunities and to care for my family and military husband who served for 10 years and is a war vet. He left to persue a career outside of the military and I took it back up about 2 years ago and realized that I had missed it dearly. For me, it is more of a release than anything.
