I enjoy trips into Los Angeles and Hollywood and seeing the classic 1930's, 40's and 50's films, in their original 35MM format, at such places as the Egyptian Theater, Million Dollar Theater, El Capitan Theater, Chinese Theater, Los Angeles Theater, The Palace Theater, and the Orpheum Theaters in Los Angeles and Hollywood. I also enjoy seeing the classic films as presented at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater at the Acadamy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, as well as those shown at the Bing Theater at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The Friends of the Mission presents special presentations of early Silent Films shown in the Music Room, with the newly restored 1910 Kimball Pipe Organ.
