After 15 years as a competitive dancer and dance studio owner, I found making my students costumes a necessity. When I had family of my own, my desire to create custom OOAK pieces became so overwhelming I had to let my inner designer and creativity take flight behind my sewing machine. What evolved from simple projects for my daughter to wear became a thriving sought after business. I am using the vintage patterns my Grandmother used over 30 years ago to make my first dance petticoat every day when I craft & create my one of a kind hand dyed pettiskirts. They truly are the fullest and fluffiest you will find. The joy of creating a sweet CUPCAKE KID out of velour & fiberfill still makes my heart race with excitement. As I hand sculpt their tiny faces & features, I have a smile that never fades from the very first step 'til the final hug I give my completed dolls. Dreaming new designs & creating new pieces from the stage to the school house door fulfills my other creative side.
