Independent-Auctions (IA) is a small business located in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California. Independent-Auctions was founded in November of 2008, but first started out as an eBay experiment in a garage. After we saw the potential that eBay had, we decided to get serious about buying and selling items. We feel that we will be able to make a name for ourselves and people will always recognize our company name. One day we hope to become one of eBay's great power sellers. Independent-Auctions sells quality items at a very low price. Buyer satisfaction is our top priority. We are currently expanding and we hope to have several auctions going at once after the expansion is complete. Until then please enjoy the auctions we currently have up and always remember to bid with confidence.
Payment policy
Currently Independent-Auctions is only accepting payments via PayPal. We only accept payments via PayPal because it is the safest and most reliant way of sending and receiving payments. In the past Independent-Auctions has come across several dishonest buyers and because of this we had to change the payment method to PayPal only. If the item you have won is eligible for local pick up and you live in the surrounding Los Angeles area you are more then welcome to pick it up, otherwise I must strongly stress and repeat that we only accept PayPal and under no circumstances will we except money orders or checks of any kind. Any items that are won and not paid for within 7 days will be sent straight to the eBay resolution center and an unpaid item case will be instantly opened. We here at Independent-Auctions do not enjoy opening unpaid item cases with the eBay resolution center, but we are telling you in advance that you must pay for you item within 7 days of winning it via auction.
Shipping information
Independent-Auctions specializes in carefully packaging items that are going out. Items will be shipped out once payment for that item is received, but if the payment comes during the evening and the post office is close we will have to ship the item out first thing in the morning. Our shipping prices are very reasonable and we understand that no customer wants to pay an arm and a leg for shipping. Independent-Auctions does ship within the United States and has currently started shipping internationally too. The domestic shipping fee is usually very standard, but the international fee can be expensive, especially if the customer decides to go with priority mail. Here at Independent-Auctions we will do our best to choose the fairest rates and we will keep you updated as to where your item is and we will keep in contact with you if you have any questions or concerns before, during, and after the item is shipped out.
Return policy
At this time we are not accepting any returns. All sales are final and you should not feel the need to return any items, because all items that are sent out through USPS are carefully packaged and examined before they are actually sent out. You will have the option to purchase insurance, but insurance is not required. By purchasing insurance this is the only way that you will be able to receive a full refund, but this is only if the item has been damaged during shipping. If you have accidentally damaged the item once you have received it you will not be able to send it back for a refund. Once again the only way to receive a full refund is if the item has been damaged during shipping, but if this ever does occur you will need to make sure that you have chosen the insurance option once your invoice is sent, otherwise no money will be refunded.
