All About Me

What everyone should know about me

I had gastric bypass on 8-3-09 and am shrinking pretty fast. I'm always on Ebay looking at clothes.

Things I sell

It just seems like too much trouble for me to sell. Ironic? :) I also like to pay it forward on general principle, so that's what I've been doing, especially with clothes. I have two part-time jobs and I'm a writer, so I'm pretty busy.

Things I buy

Clothing and shoes--many tie-dyes and T-shirts and hoodies--love Torrid, Tripp, Converse, Vans, Harajuku Lovers, Ed Hardy, boho/hippie stuff, and vintage or vintage-inspired clothes and jewelry. My favorite plus-size brands have tended to be from Torrid, Fashion Bug, Ulla Popken and Junonia. Have purchased a fair amount of music and DVDs here, as well as some collectibles, including TV memorabilia (autographed photos and such).

Things I collect

I collect books, music, some Sanrio stuff (Hello Kitty, Badtz Maru, Chococat, Kuromi), love classic Sesame Street and Looney Tunes, Smurfs, salt and pepper shakers, vintage or vintage-inspired brooches and hats (especially art deco and art nouveau era), vinyl LPs and 45s, anything to do with Mystery Science Theater 3000...I need to stop collecting things, but that's probably true of many Ebayers. :)

Brilliant but cancelled: Veronica Mars, Freaks and Geeks, Wonderfalls, My So-Called Life, Roseanne, That '70s Show, Absolutely Fabulous, Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Riches. Brilliant but not cancelled yet (I hope): Big Love, Breaking Bad, Intervention, Two and a Half Men, the Simpsons, My Name is Earl.
