Great genuine themes - rebelling, the thought of growing up too fast, and life after school. AWESOME SOUNDTRACK!! A clear-eyed look at high school and the life indulging in vices that was viewed as a coming-of-age "rite of passage rather than a life-threatening act of immorality. Excellent Cast! Matthew McConaughey is so sexy in this movie! I could watch it over and over and over.....
