Started on eBay in June 2002. Been hooked ever since. Sell mostly magazines and books. I have bought all kinds of things -- even furnished my new home, mainly, through eBay purchases.

PayPal only, but I accept all PayPal transactions.

I always list the shipping amount in my listings. Shipping fees vary, depending on weight and type of listing. I always ship via USPS, this is non-negotiable. Books and other media products are usually sent via USPS Media Mail, though I send via first class for lighter books. I try to ship via the cheapest method possible, but with the greatest service level I can for that price. (For instance, all items under nine ounces go via first class). I weight item before listing and round up to nearest ounce (or pound when over 16 oz.) Sometimes eBay calculates the fee differently than I would. Sometimes the calculation is less than I collect from buyer, sometimes more. But my goal is to get it nailed exactly on the cost.

Most merchandise is returnable. Each listing is clearly marked as to what the policy is for that item. Most listings allow for a 14 days return policy, which will be given as money back. I ship with delivery confirmation if item is mailed via media or priority (USPS doesn't allow DC with first class). I will issue a complete refund (of purchase price and shipping) if the item is lost. However, if you decide you don't want the item, you will only be refunded the amount you paid, minus your shipping fee. You pay for the return before you get a refund. Of course, if I have misrepresented the item or it is broken or otherwise unusable, I do give complete refunds including postage.
