InterAct SuperPad 64 Hyper Blue Sharkskin Nintendo N64 Controller Pad
Feb 14, 2017
It's no Hori, but it works great
The Hori N64 controller is considered the quintessential controller for your venerable Nintendo, but this is a close second. The traditional trident controller is alright as-is, but the analog stick is weak and certain combinations of control schemes are uncomfortable for some folks. (those with very large hands). This controller fixes that problem and makes it easier to handle with its minimalist prongs on the outer edge and a single center handle to grab (makes it very ambidextrous). The shark skin isn't as horrible as I thought, but be aware that non-boxed copies of this controller might have some odd wear in the skin... but it's not like those silicon covers you put on the 360/PS3 controllers, but it is as comfortable.
Maximum Pool Sega Dreamcast SYSTEM GAME FACTORY SEALED NEW BILLIARDS CUES

Pool on the venerable Dreamcast
Not a bad pool game for the Dreamcast. I don't know how many they made (probably not many, given the short lifespan of the console in the US), but this is a nice alternative to typical sports titles and racing games on the console. It looks great in VGA as well.

Nice cross-section of old radio news from WW2
After looking around for some streams of radio broadcasts from WW2, I came across this title in the "Daily Deal" eBay section. It was priced right, and even if the CD's didn't have all I wanted in terms of detailed news and whatnot (some of the CDs are "period" placeholders to give you a sense of atmosphere), I knew this would be at least a start for my old radio collection. (Having already gotten the famous "War of the Worlds" broadcast with my anniversary copy of the book, I wanted more vintage radio...) If you're a history buff or you were alive during WW2, this collection provides a really good snapshot of the events and coverage that led up to WW2 as well as the major theaters. There is a "tribute to FDR" that was broadcast shortly after his death on these CDs as well. The CDs themselves are usually one long track or quite a few large tracks, but that doesn't detract from the listening. (If you're handy with an audio editor, you can track them out easily with proper station breaks and the like.... I might try that later myself.) This is a cheap set and at 20 CDs, you won't be bored.
