I'm an artist by trade and teach oil painting. Semi retired and grandmother of 5

Little bits of my creations in pyrography. Hope to create more things to sell in the future. I love doing box orginals. I also do quilling but I love doing the old vintage quilling, copy pieces that are in galleries around the world. I also do easter egg quilling.My latest love is creating things with polymer clay, I have a Best Friend Series out and I love to do little creatures that go bump in the night. Recently I have turned my attention to Octopus's for some unknown reason.

Books, books and more books. I'm a book junkie. I love history and books that teach you things, well that was dumb because most books teach us some thing about some thing, old paper things, be it marriage license, or vintage mags. Some clothing. I also like to collect folk art. It excites me to hold things in my hands that some one else has created.

Vintage magazines, stamps, vintage photos, foreign bank notes, old diaries, Dolls, art books, I just collect a lot of stuff. To much to mention here I think.

English, pig latin..anybody remember that?

Pyrography, painting, creating boxes so they can be keepsakes of tomorrow, Vintage Quilling, Polymer Clay. I love recipe books and read them like novels, especially the old ones that tell you a pinch of this and a smig of that. lol

History books, biographies, Toni Morrison favorite author, Old magazines. I love craft books and learning how to do new crafts and folk art books. Recipe books are on my top of the list to but am trying to downsize the collection that I have.

Shindler's List, Holy Grail, This movie cracks me up no matter how many times I see it, Long Hall Trailer, to many to mention actually but these rank at the top.

Music from the sixties. You can take the girl out of the sixties but you can't take the sixties out of the girl. So I really favor old folk music like Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, etc. Protest songs, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Neil Diamond. Celtic music.

Carl Sagan, Rosa Parks, John Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Stephen Hawking, Sam Kinnison, Elvis and Segovia, and then my Grandma .I would love to have my grandma meet these people. She was such a simple beautiful woman that I know these people would excite her. She could neither read nor write but she was just as wise as any I have mentioned and she would have loved fixing fried chicken for them the southern way. Stephen Hawking would have adored her simple way to life, I think they could have been best friends. She would have smacked Sam for his foul mouth all the while she was laughing at him saying the he was probably the youngest son and the most spoiled,that's why he got by with so much.She and Carl would have talked about heaven, Rosa Parks she would have shared recipe's with, John and Bill would have been like the sons she always wanted, I'm certain she would have checked behind their ears to see if they were clean. Elvis because she would sing gospels with him and Segovia to listen to

I have always worked in some type of art field and with animals all my life. Took up art seriously after retiring 13 years ago and moving to Ohio. Taught oil painting until I retired and loved it. Have studied under a wonderful Artist for years now, Robert Warren. It never ceases to surprise me at how much more I pick up daily doing what I love to do the most in life. Every day I learn something new to add to my memories. God forbid should I become old and reach a time in my life that I feel I have nothing more to learn or to give to people.

Profit comes in many forms, the money profit is nice but it's not everything in life. To get my work into the hands of people that love it is also profit, to create the piece is profit, because from all three things I'm the one that comes out the winner in all of this. The people I come in contact with on eBay are for the most part absolutely wonderful. It pleases me much more than words can convey when I make some one happy with my work.
