Buy it, find an AT&T Genius Bar and start the fun!
18 of 19 found this helpful Love it! Bought it for work, needing an easier way to access/display photos. It's perfect! The screen is crystal clear. Navigation thru the photos is so fast and I can email the photos to my clients from the viewing screen! Saves me a ton of time. I also needed a smaller, lightweight computer for on the go. My laptop was too heavy/bulky on vacation when traveling with the kids. When I buy computers, I always buy the one with all the features. Didn't figure I would need the 3G, but with AT&T service @ $25/mo (which I didn't have to activate right away) I made sure to have the option. Buying on eBay is awesome!
Have to say it- I HATE ITunes. It is a pain. Couldn't get my photos on the IPAD so I went to BEST BUY. Their "pro" tried to sell me the camera adapter. The IPAD comes with a USB cord. I asked the pro how to transfer photos using it - couldnt tell me! As a new IPAD user, there should be an instruction manual ON THE IPAD!! Forums and the tips apps are great, but when you are out of wifi range and dont have 3G active, they do you no good!
Printer apps are a pain. I have a wifi printer at work and home. Still can't seem to navigate the printers thru all the apps to print. Why load apps on the home page with no printer app? Most printer apps have the preloaded apps in them and won't print from the home screen apps- at least I can't seem to.
I'm a Microsoft office user. Still trying to get the office app working. The switch from what you know to this has had its ups (speed)and downs (apps &Itunes). Wish there was a delete button on the internal keyboard! Moving the cursor around to backspace is a pain.
I've been told to hit the genius bar at the local AT&T store for help. Havent had time, but I did call the AT&T store to ask my photo upload question. I called 2 stores, the first store didn't have anyone who had an IPAD or who could answer ??s. The second store only had one person who could answer ???s and they took 4 hours to call me back! I ended up on Facebook and got more help from there than I did anywhere else.
I still highly recommend this product. I hardly use my laptop anymore! I bought a wireless (rechargeable) Adesso keyboard case for the IPAD and love it! I know it's just a matter of time before I have this mastered,but in the meantime, slightly frustrated! If you download an app, you should be able to use it whether you are in a wifi spot or not, especially if you paid for it. You should not have to be "connected" to use your apps. If you buy an IPad, make sure you purchase the "top 100tips for IPad" app. It's $0.99 and well worth it.
I have an Android phone. While I like the ease of its first time user friendliness, the IPAD ROCKS!!

Love it! Have the same model myself. Bought this for my son. Easy to load with Windows Media Player. Small dimensions make it easy to carry. Expandable! Durable! FM receiver is a great feature too.

Great birthday / bridal gift!
This is a wonderful way to bring the family together, keeping parents and grandparents up to date on everyones adventures.
Would make a great bridal gift! Leave app and frame info on reception tables and invite everyone to upload photos all night long getting those candids the photographer might miss!
