A Bit Of Personal Information About John
I am an incomplete paraplegic, due to Guillain-Barré Syndrome at age 7. I need either crutches and leg braces or a wheelchair to get around. Due to my disability I am partially incontinent, and require the use of a catheter or diapers (unless I am within two minutes of a restroom, then I need nothing). I do not smoke, I am looking for a strong platonic friendships, I am looking for people who can accept me for who I am, people who can be lifelong friends. I have learned to accept my disabilities, I have Asperger's Syndrome which is a very high functioning form of Autism, that is quite different than Classic Autism, but is still on the Autism Spectrum. I am on disability, and have not worked for many years. So I have all the time in the world, but not much in the way of income. I have started using a power chair due to osteoarthritis from years of use of crutches and leg braces.
Business InformationHistory/background
We have been proud members of eBay since the 29th of January of 1998.
We tend to pay for our purchases IMMEDIATELY (within 5 minutes of winning an auction or selecting BUY IT NOW, unless we have a question of the seller, such as to confirm shipping amounts if it is unclear in our auctions).
We leave feedback for all sellers who leave feedback for us. We are proud of our eBay reputation (so much that we put our feedback that we have left for others as a REPLY to the feedback sellers give us, so that on one page all viewers can see our full experience with the seller. Plus it also allows us to remember where we bought things in the past so that we can go back to the same sellers if we have a similar need in the future).
Payment policy
We prefer to pay via PayPal for all of our eBay Purchases.
It is the easiest form for us since we are both disabled.
Checks are hard for us to write. Money Orders are hard to get since it is hard for us to get out of the house.
Shipping information
We prefer shipping forms that have some sort of tracking or confirmation number.
This allows us to track the packages coming to us, and for us to deal with the shipping service (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Et Cetera), instead of bothering the sellers. Only if there is no sign of the package a week before the time limit of PayPal Buyer Protection, do we contact the seller after exhausting all searches on our end.
This way both the seller and we know that the package has been sent and received.
Return policy
In all of our purchases thus far (04-November-2006) we have never had the occasion to return anything. I believe this is due to due diligence in researching the products as well as all of the sellers feedback.
