I sent my car to the dealer. They asked for $1800 for the repair, but I was frustrated by that unreasonable amount. I watched this video from this wonderful person. I purchased the part and installed it myself. The process was very easy and the repair was completed. Thank you. You saved us from thieves and fraudsters of the merchant.

Better Instructions for ChannelMaster DVR
Lots of steps to get full functionality for the Channel Master DVR but it's great when it works. Full instructions can be found by searching for "Anderic RRU401.3" and finding a pdf file at replacementremotes dot com. About my setup: Samsung TV, ChannelMaster DVR, Sony Surround system. Sony comes on when it detects the TV on, TV passes volume up/down/mute to the Sony through HDMI or optical audio, not sure. The DVR is setup for -10 seconds back and +30 seconds forward skip buttons. These are configured in the DVR settings and can be shorter or longer. I just call them -10 and +30 here. The +30 button required a screwdriver to mash it down to make it work, the #1 reason we bought this remote. Other buttons were starting to fail as well. I setup the DVD as the channel master DVR. Setup DVD as ChannelMaster DVR: Hold DVD til it flashes, 5319 Setup TV as a Samsung: Turn TV on Press and release TV, press and hold 4 until the TV turns off. 4 is for Samsung, other TV models are in the pdf file. Channel punch through to make DVR change channels: Hold DVD til it flashes, 9982 Volume punch through so TV always controls audio Hold TV til it flashes, 9983 Media punch through so DVR always does stop, rewind, etc Hold DVD til it flashes, 9984 Learning Function for -10 Second back, +30 seconds forward: Point the remotes at each other about 2 inches apart, I did this on a desk. Hold DVD til it flashes press and release MENU, mode key blinks slowly press and release -10 Second back (circle showing counter clockwise rotation) OR +30 forward, press button on old remote for backwards 10 seconds, mode will blink 3 times then blinks slowly press DVD to save and exit Individual key punch through for -10 Second back Hold DVD til it flashes, 98, push -10 Second back (circle showing counter clockwise rotation), push DVD again. Individual key punch through for +30 seconds forward buttons Hold DVD til it flashes, 98, push +30 Second forward ( -->| ), push DVD again.
