Personal Background
I currently own a small organic truck farm and I am a vendor at a Farmer's Market each Saturday (if the weather co-operatates from the middle of June to the end of October in a nearby town but am only able to do this with the help of a great husband. All through my life I have lived on a farm, both small and large, and loved and cherished the outdoor life. My Mother instilled in her children the love of God, nature, animals, honesty, good work ethics, and to treat others as you would have them treat you, (her grandfather was a traveling minister). Sometimes it has been hard to follow her high standards and live by His Words in this sometimes harsh and fast paced world today, but I keep trying so I can again laugh and love with my departed family members, friends, God's cherished creatures and others who have been pivotable in my life, when we again meet at the Pearly Gates of Heaven!
Business InformationHistory/background
During my 27 year marriage I have assisted in my husband's varied business adventures after his forced early retirement at age 50. I have a certificate in accounting and have always loved animals, so then was a Veterinarian Techinican for years helping damaged and abused animals heal and again gain trust in us when they have been so mistreated. I have also always enjoyed math and have done bookkeeping over the years as a side line from home, maybe that's why I'm a pennypincher and love a good bargain.
Payment policy
I use paypal for prompt shipment.
Shipping information
I have great combined shipping discounts. No matter how many items you purchase that fit into ONE BOX with these exceptions: similar items, no glassware with heavy items, and about 15 pounds, Dr's order's, bad back, for only one handling fee of $.50 USA & $1.00 International to cover packaging costs and I combine the weights of those items. You can do this for up to ONE month as long as you advise me that you are still bidding and not avoiding payment. DO NOT PAY INVOICES till done shopping. But do advise me by ebay message after your first initial order and occassionally! When done, just ask for combined invoices.
Return policy
I will happily refund if an item is not as I have described to the best of my knowledge in 7 days if item is returned in original condition. I want satisfied repeat customers. They are the backbone of any successful business. I have worked in the service industries almost all my life and know that customer service can make or break any business!
Picture of Waipio, Hawaii
I took this picture of Waipio Valley on our only trip to Hawaii (The Big Island)during our 25th wedding anniversary trip. I urge everyone to go to the Big Island or anyplace in Hawaii just once in their lifetime. It is one of the most beautiful places (if you can afford it). We were lucky and found a 2 bedroom furnished apartment overlooking the ocean with 2 bathrooms and laundry room for $800 a week! So we saved alot of money cooking our own food!! There I go again, pennypinching, but the place was clean, modern, Island decorated, with a porch overlooking the ocean and wonderful! Rent a car and drive around the island, you go from desert to rainforest, mountain to volcano, it seems within just a few miles. Pack a lunch and sit at some of the most beautiful overlooks in the world, we even saw bunches of whales, just the two of you, so romantic!
Living Green
I believe in Living Green whenever possible, so I recycle everything I can, boxes, paper, bubble wrap (mine comes from a car body shop or local furniture store), newspaper, egg cartons, peanuts, etc. Some of the packaging will not be pretty, but I feel I'm helping the enviroment in some small way!!
